Pear & Pomegranate

Pear & Pomegranate - 6 x 6 Oil on Gesso Board
Sold

I'm fascinated by the pomegranates—the beautiful color and interesting shapes— but have yet to eat one.  I've been hearing all the buzz about their health benefits, so I should probably dig in and try it at least.   I'm not even sure if I should eat the berries raw, or if it's better to prepare them somehow??

  1. Lovely painting and I especially like the light hitting the pear! I've never eaten a pomegranate either so I Googled it. Hmmm... Looks like quite an involved and messy operation!

  2. Stunning! Truly stunning.
I used to eat them raw dug out of each little socket with a pin.

  3. Beautiful work ! You are really moving forward. Pom's are really delicious if ripe. It is messy and not always worth the trouble. Juice is the way to go.
