This painting was also a little different for me.  It was filled with challenges!  First of all the ellipses, so many!  Definitely the hardest challenge for me.  But good practice.  Then there's the high-key color scheme, and the glass.  And of course the flame.  Getting a flame to look bright on a high-key painting...  whew!  It was a good exercise.

Just thinking about all of the people who have not survived Covid-19, and the ones who are sick and afraid.  They're all in my prayers.
