Decisions - 6 x 6 Oil on Gessoboard |
Happy New Year all! I finally have my studio back — it was taken over with textbooks, calculators, pens and pencils. But I rearranged and managed to clear a small space in our storage room for my office, so now I can have both studio and office. Now I just need to carve out time every day to get back to the daily painting... easy, right?!
This piece was a good practice piece with the metallics and variety of values, not to mention that I have plenty of these props. I thought I'd experiment with more grays to contrast with the colorful lipsticks. I think in this case it worked out well.
Glad to see you are back. I am looking forward to more of your wonderful artwork.
